A Cargo Ship Or A Mobilized Army?

Word For today: November 25, 2019: A Cargo Ship Or A Mobilized Army?

Beloved,

This morning, I received an encouraging word from a sister in Christ that hit me pretty hard this morning. In the word was a question, are you “a cargo ship, or a mobilizer?”

That question hit me hard because a cargo ship has one function and a mobilized army has another. A cargo ship function is to bring and drop off supplies where it is sent and then goes back to get more cargo to be sent somewhere else or even the same place.

Yet, a mobilizer is someone that causes things or people to move in “the same direction, with the same goal, the same plans, to advance a specific plan.

I am asking the Lord why this is hitting me this morning? Beloved this word may not be for everyone, but is for those God is having me write to.

Beloved, A cargo ship is usually owned by a company or a very rich individual who is in the “transportation business.” The “business” to provide a “tool” to bring certain supplies to a destination.

It usually has a mixtures of supplies upon the ship because many people are coming have purchased different items that they need.

The owners of this ships hire a crew that knows how to load it and unload it. They need the right equipment to lift and carry those supplies on and off the ship. The crew also needs how to navigate the ocean to get to their destination and back.

The cargo ship is a “business.” A “business of transportation of supplies to those that purchase it.”

As I pondering this truth spiritually, the Holy Spirit is speaking to me about the “cargo ship religious system mentality” verses the “mobilized army of God’s advancing Kingdom people.”

In today’s “religious system, going to church” is like going to a cargo ship to get your supplies. It has different supplies for the people that come. Each week the Pastor or leaders plan what supplies to bring and to whom.

The focus of the activity on the cargo ship is to “supply” a church vision including all it’s activities to build “something” for God, verse “mobilize God’s people to become something for the Lord’s in advancing the Kingdom of God on the earth.

With a “cargo ship” mentality, Sunday and Wednesday become a time to load and unload the supplies. Usually each service has a “time of worship, fellowship, the word of God, ministry, prayer, food and snacks, ministry focuses on “MEETING THE NEEDS OF PEOPLE FIRST AND NOT GOD’S!

If the church remains as “a cargo ship” then it will have to continually repeat the same function it does every day, week, month and year. That function is to get the “supplies” for the people.

As a cargo ship, the Pastor or leader will have “to get a message for each service.” They will have to determine the time and length to load and unload what they planned for each service.

The leader will have to “figure out what needs to be done to supply the people. Do we need special singers today, special songs, the youth to minister, others to share?

The goal of the cargo ship “church” is load and unload what we believe are “spiritual supplies” of the people to with the cargo we have chosen for them. The “hearing of the message” becomes the “major cargo” we unload, the announcements and offerings become “other priority cargo” we have to unload to the people.

This is contrast with God’s desire of us being in His manifested presence and meeting Him personally to minister to him, hear his heart, to know what he desires as we gather.

If you notice in the “religious church age cargo ship” mentality we have to repeat the same process service after service. We may choose different cargo, different people to give the cargo, but the end is still the same which is to load and unload cargo for the people.

Beloved we have trained a generation of “church goers” “pew sitters” to come each week to the cargo ship” to get what they need for their spiritual life from the “ship” instead of God himself. The people of God have come to totally depend on the “ship, the supplies in the ship” instead of the God who is over the ship.

WE have told them THIS IS CHRISTIAN LIFE. WE HAVE TOLD THEM THIS IS CHRISTIAN SERVICE. COME TO THE CARGO SHIP AND GET YOUR SUPPLIES. WE ARE RICH AND IN NEED OF NOTHING!

WE HAVE RAISED UP A GENERATION OF RELIGIOUS CARGO SHIP RECEIVERS INSTEAD OF ALLOWING THE HOLY SPIRIT TO EMPOWER, ENERGIZE AND MOBILIZE US INTO FULL GROWN SONS AND DAUGHTERS AS THE ADVANCING KINGDOM OF GOD ARMY, OR A WHEEL WITHIN A WHEEL. BUT GOD IS CHANGING THAT!

WE HAVE RAISED UP A GENERATION OF CHRISTIAN PEW SITTERS WHO ARE DEPENDENT ON THE SAILING OF THE SHIP, THE CARGO ON THE SHIP, INSTEAD OF KNOWING AND DEPENDING UPON GOD FOR THEMSELVES. WE HAVE MADE THEM SHIP NEEDY INSTEAD OF GOD NEEDY!

Unfortunately, for most Christians the “cargo ship” religious system fits nicely in their lives. When the priority of most Christians is to work and make money, pay your bills, enjoy your family, have your own free time to do what you want, go to church, pay your tithes and maybe get involved in a ministry, the cargo ship is the perfect answer to living that kind of life.

This heart attitude also produces Cargo ship ministers. These ministers will give the “people what they want. They will make sure they have the right supplies on the “ship” that people will come back week after to week to get those supplies.

They may even do “marketing surveys” to find out what the people want in their church. I am not kidding, I have seen these tools given out at Pastor’s gatherings. If the “church” has a “supply my needs” mentality, then the “cargo ship” is the perfect place to go.

One church in a particular state ran a commercial that said, “we are the fastest growing church in our city. We have satellite locations throughout the city. We are non confrontational and have non confrontational messages.

We guarantee to have you out in an hour. We have jumping castles, horse back riding and many other family orientated activities. You will be encouraged each service with a motivational message on how to be good people.

That is what a “cargo ship” religious mentality looks like when it taken to the fullness of a “religious spirits’ end.” The goal for this church is “meet the needs” of the people and not God’s. They are a cargo ship carrying what the people want, need and have itching ears for.

Not every “cargo ship” is to that extreme, but a cargo ship has the mentality that whatever it supplies IT MUST FIT INTO PEOPLES LIFE, THE TIME THEY HAVE, AND WHAT THE PEOPLE WANT TO GIVE GOD, NOT WHAT THE PEOPLE SHOULD GIVE TO GOD!

The “cargo ship mentality” fits nicely into a person life for there is no cost of laying down your life in it. All you have to do is “attend” the church, go the ship each week, to get your supplies.

You may even be offered to join the “crew of the ship” and hold a title or position on the ship” as long as the “cargo ship” vision is maintained, and that is to “bring the supplies” the people want to them each week, month and year.

Have you noticed beloved, that to often on the cargo ship we keep doing the same thing service after service, meeting after meeting?

We may change the styles of how we do things, like when we change clothes, but the FUNCTIONING OF OUR SERVICES IS TO STILL TO “EAT” AND GET OUR SUPPLIES FROM THE SHIP, AND THEN LIVE OUR LIVES MAYBE A BIT MORE LIKE CHRISTIANS!

DID YOU NOTICE HOW THE GIFTS, THE DESTINIES OF WHAT EACH PERSON HAS NO ROOM TO LIVE AND GROW IN THE CARGO SHIP RELIGIOUS MENTALITY?

WHY? BECAUSE THERE IS NO ROOM (AT THE INN-SHIP)FOR THE HOLY SPIRIT TO ACTIVATE IN PEOPLE, CAUSE THEM TO GROW UP, OR EVEN HAVE A PLACE FOR THEIR GIFT TO FUNCTION WITH THE OTHER BODY PARTS.

THE LEADERS HAVE A MINDSET, “WE ARE A CARGO SHIP AND YOU ARE ONLY THERE TO GET YOUR SUPPLIES WE HAVE CHOSEN TO GIVE YOU. YOUR JOB AS A MEMBER IS TO GET YOUR SUPPLIES, YOUR WEEKLY MESSAGE, LOVE THE WORSHIP, GET A GOOD MESSAGE FROM THE PASTOR, HELP OUT WHERE YOU CAN, AND THEN LIVE YOUR LIFE AS YOU CHOOSE! OH THE LIFE OF A CARGO SHIP AND IT’S PEOPLE!”

The cargo ship EVEN has it’s own “captains training schools as well. For they have to raise up new Captains to keep the “gravy train” of giving out supplies of what the people wants going.

On the cargo ship the Pastor does 98 percent of the preaching, sharing, vision sharing and everyone must get the supplies that advance that vision. They very rarely allow others to speak or share.

They are the “captain” and often are threatened by the other crew members anointing to often. So they make little room for God to use the other crew members.

Have you noticed how few churches allow other 5 fold ministry gifts to come and minister in the people? Have you noticed how few churches allow the Spirit of God to lead and set the agenda for the gatherings? Why is that?

The reason is that the Holy Spirit is NOT A CARGO SHIP. THE HOLY SPIRIT IS GOD ALMIGHTY. HE HAS COME TO EQUIP, EMPOWER, AND TEACH US, GUIDE US TO BE A KINGDOM ADVANCING PEOPLE ON THE EARTH. HE HAS COME TO BRING EACH ONE OF US TO MATURITY AND TO REFLECT THE LIFE OF JESUS.

THE HOLY SPIRIT WHO IS GOD IS ONE “CARGO” THAT CAN’T BE AFFORDED TO COME ON THE CARGO SHIP FULLY AS GOD WANTS BECAUSE HE COULD WRECK THE FUNCTIONING AND PROFIT OF THE SHIPS PURPOSE!

THIS PRECIOUS CARGO MIGHT COME TO CONVICT OF SIN, RIGHTEOUSNESS AND JUDGMENT. THIS CARGO MAY COME LIKE A REFINERS FIRE AND FULLERS SOAP AND THOROUGHLY PURGE GOD’S PRIESTHOOD.

THIS CARGO MAY LAY EVEN THE LEADERS MOTIVES BARE AND THE MOTIVATION IN THE HEARTS OF GOD’S PEOPLE TO REPENT AND REALLY CHANGE. CAN’T HAVE THAT ON THE SHIP!

The cargo ship “mentality” is a Christian life of mixture and lukewarm ness. If you come to the “cargo ship” each week you can get what someone thinks you need.

They are seeking God to see what you need but with “mixed intentions.” Intentions to keep you “coming to their ship to get their cargo and be dependent upon them and their ship instead of bringing you to GOD directly to be dependent upon him.

Unfortunately some of these “cargo ship leaders” stress and insist you come to their ship and be part of their ship not because of God but because of their need for you to be part of the “crew” and come and get your supplies from them.

They will call you rebellious and other things and accuse of not being in order and out of alignment because you won’t go to the “cargo ship” to get your supplies as they need you to.

Yet the remnant of God CAN NOT AND WILL NOT REMAIN PART OF A CARGO SHIP. THEY ARE NOT CARGO, THEY ARE MOBILIZERS. THEY ARE BURNING WITH THE KINGDOM OF GOD IN THEM AND TO ADVANCE IT UPON THE EARTH AS FULL GROWN SONS AND DAUGHTERS.

Beloved, let us now contrast the cargo ship verses God’s mobilizing army, the wheel within a wheel He is forming on the earth. I have a question for us. Was the early church birthed on the day of Pentecost as a “cargo ship” or a “mobilizing people, or army of God?"

I believe you know the answer. They were formed as a mobilizing people, an army of God upon the earth. The priority of the early church was not to be a “cargo ship” but to be a “mobilized army” advancing warriors for God to spread the full Gospel of the Kingdom of God.

Their priority was not to “go to church to get their supplies” from a service, but to gather together to become one people with God.

I believe you know the answer. They were formed as a mobilizing people, an army of God upon the earth. The priority of the early church was not to be a “cargo ship” but to be a “mobilized army” advancing warriors for God to spread the full Gospel of the Kingdom of God.

They became the hands and feet of Jesus to advance God’s will and establish the Kingdom of God in men’s hearts upon the earth.

Beloved, When they came together it was not to meet about getting their needs or wants, but to seek the face of God.

They didn’t gather to get religious minded supplies and say wasn’t worship great today , but they met together for the Lord’s needs and get his commands and do His will on earth.

Their heart was to live fully the life of Jesus in the Kingdom of God on the earth. They desired to stay together in prayer, to be taught the apostles doctrine, have fellowship, breaking bread together, sharing everything they owned in common so everyone was cared for, equipped and ready for battle in service to God.

Their priority was to MOBILIZE AND ADVANCE THE KINGDOM OF GOD REALITY ON THE EARTH.

They were so filled with GOD, and the fire of pure holy love, that they didn’t consider what they had their own, they sold their possession and laid it at the apostles feed to give to all those in need. Great signs and wonders were done at the Apostles hands to advance the Kingdom.

These saints were not their own, they were purchased with a price. They live and breathed in the life of the Spirit of God. They were continually filled with the Holy Spirit Baptism.

They were continually praying and seeking God together and God MOBILIZED THEM TO FUNCTION WITH HIM TO ADVANCE HIS KINGDOM. THEY WERE ONE WITH GOD, ONE WITH EACH OTHER.

Beloved, their destination was not to “go to church.” Their destination was not to go get supplies at the “cargo ship” of religious church life. Their destination was to pour out their lives as drink offerings as the Apostle Paul told them, follow me as I follow Christ.

The “early church” was never a “cargo ship” nor did it see itself as a place “to go to” on Sundays and Wednesday. They never saw the gathering of God’s people as a “building or ship” to go to where people come to get “religious spiritual supplies.

The early church gathered together to “function in their unction.” They gathered together to “be the people of God as his ambassadors on the earth. They came together to be a “mobilized army of God” BY THE WORK AND LEADING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT AND NOT.. .AND NOT.. BY THE WILL OF MEN....

They gathered to “MOBILIZE AS A WHEEL WITHIN A WHEEL FOR THIER GENERATION to spread the Gospel and advance the Kingdom of God PURPOSES upon the earth.

This “early church” people understood they were purchased with a price, they are not their own. They lived for only Jesus. They lived only to do God’s will. They didn’t try to fit “God’s kingdom” into their daily life and their daily priorities. Their daily life belonged to God fully, and they desired to be used any way He willed.

They were ready to go on a moments notice. They were citizens of heaven not of the earth. They were not lukewarm, or filled with mixture. They were on fire for God and living as His true ambassadors on the earth.

Their heart were burning to “advance the kingdom of God reality” not their church or ministry vision. They were not working to build a supply house, a hospital, a “cargo ship” gathering place for their ship to unload. Whatever God did and moved in their midst was “to equip, mobilize them as the advancing kingdom of God messengers on the earth.

Beloved, Their lives were given to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. Their hearts were to live fully with God and to do only His will even if it cost them their lives.

They had the yearning heart of being mobilized together as one with God and one another. They gave their lives, their finances, their possessions fully for the use of God and His Kingdom.

They did not have to buy books and tapes, or purchase sand from Israel to be coerced into giving. They understood the heart of pure holy love that lives to give and gives to live!

They were filled with the heart of pure holy love to give up their lives to pray, to seek God, to be taught and trained by the Holy Spirit and the true 5 fold ministry so they could do the “work of the ministry.” They never desired to bring people to them, their “church” their “ministry, their “activities they did in God’s name.

Their only desires was to see the advancement of the kingdom of God and spread the true Gospel of the Kingdom on the earth.

They didn’t build a port for the cargo ship to camp out at to bring the same supplies each week for people to live their lives as business as usual. They didn’t live to meet the needs of men first, but the lived to meet the needs of God first. The lived to seek the Kingdom of God first, and to obey the Lord fully.

They were an advancing mobilized people (army) of God transforming the earth with the His Glory as the baptism of fire burned in them. Their lives were a “witness” of the Kingdom of God on the earth They were not doing “witnessing” as a work, they were living epistles for the world to see and behold.

They walked in kingdom power and glory so much that Peters’ shadow was filled with glory and healed people. Paul was so filled with his glory that he prayed over handkerchiefs to be sent to the sick for God to heal them.

THEY WERE A MOBILIZED PEOPLE SET APART FOR THE PURPOSES OF GOD. THEY WERE NOT A CARGO SHIP!

Beloved they understood the Kingdom of God was advancing on the earth moment by moment and they were activated and mobilized by God to bring that advancement.

If you asked them about their Christian life they would not say I go to the First Baptist church, The Assembly of God, or Joy church. They would never give you a “church name” as their identity.

They would not tell you about how wonderful their church is, their pastors is, their leader is and give you a list of all the activities and supplies that the “cargo ship” gives you.

They would tell you about Jesus Christ and Him crucified, died, and raised from the dead. They would tell you about the glorious Kingdom of God that must fill your heart. They would tell you about what it really means to live fully for the Lord, “not I, but Christ.”

They would never tell you how great worship was last week, or how great a message the Pastor preached. They would reveal through their life the reflection of the life of Jesus to see, that would cause you to want to find Jesus for yourself and know him.

They would never bring you to themselves, their church or ministry, they would bring you to Jesus. They would teach you how to know him, walk with him, live with him and to surrender your entire life to His Lordship. They would teach what true eternal life is, “to know the one true God” and Jesus who He sent.

They would teach you the true operation of the Kingdom of love, how to walk in it, live in it, and how to lay your life down for your friends. They would not give you Christian entertainment, Christian psycho-babel, or Christian philosophy, or be religiously politically correct.

They would be the reflection of God’s glorious kingdom on the earth filled with His Glory that transform the earth. That is what the early church did. They reached the whole known world in 100 years not by their “cargo ship religious supply ship” but by being “releasers, mobilizers” of the power and glory of God, the Gospel of the Kingdom from heaven upon the earth.

Beloved, the danger of the “cargo ship mentality” is that it makes the people of God, fat, lazy, selfish, and self seeking where coming to church is all about meeting men’s need first above God’s.

The danger is that the function and work of the ministry becomes about a church vision, our church needs, our ministry needs “in the name” of reaching our community instead of equipping and mobilizing the full grown sons of God who are led by the Spirit of God.

In reality the cargo ship mentality make a “supply side” Christianity. This mentality teaches God’s people that they must “come to church to be fed” instead of teaching them how to “be led” by the Spirit of God.

The cargo ship produces “stationary saints” who get their full from the “cargo ship” instead of becoming the mobilized visionary saints of God ready to do God’s will and advance His Kingdom on the earth.

Beloved, the good news is that God is changing this. He is calling his leaders to give up their old wine skin of the “dead religious church cargo ship mentality” to get a “new wine skin” of God’ activating mobilizing remnant army ready to drink the new wine he has saved for last. God is forming A WHEEL WITHIN A WHEEL. A WHEEL WITHIN A WHEEL IS FORMING NOT A CARGO SHIP!

The rest of this year is going to bring that significant change in the remnant hearts of God’s people that are hearing his voice.

There is a “total separation” happening in the heart of God’s remnant people to fully come out and walk away from the old life of “cargo ship religious mentality.” The remnant of God will no longer ever be satisfied with the cargo of the “religious system ship” as their destiny, but they are now seeking God Almighty, His plans, His thoughts and His ways!

They will never submit to a dead religious leadership structure that “lords” over them instead of the true leadership structure that gets underneath them so they all can be all God created them to be and their part in God’s mobilized army, His wheel within a wheel on the earth.

They will never substitute dead religious life for the true spirit filled and led life God has given them to live upon the earth. These are God’s remnant warriors. They are dying to themselves, being crucified with Christ, nevertheless they live.

These remnant warriors are coming fully under the complete headship of Jesus Christ as King of King and Lord of Lords.

They are not counting what they have as their own, but they are willing to lay it at the apostles feet for the love and care of all. They are ready to leave this world behind and walk as citizens of heaven on the earth and walk in their full grown sonship.

These are the called out ones that God is now “mobilizing as a wheel within a wheel.” They are being formed into a royal priesthood and a holy nation. They are God’s full grown sons and daughters, kings and priests, God’s mobilizing army of worshipping warriors.

They are not looking for rank, offices, positions or titles, they are looking for God Himself! They are God’s “mobilizing ones, his full grown sons and daughters ready to advance the Kingdom of God fully upon the earth.

They will never be a cargo ship or live there. They will never pitch their tents at the cargo ships to get “religious supplies.” They are “mobilizers” advancers of God’s kingdom who will walk on the earth in their kingdom dominion authority and power to subdue it.

The time is here. They are being “mobilized” by God right now. They are connecting with other part of the Body of Christ by the Spirit of God on the internet, through dreams and visions to go where God wants them to go and be connected where God wants them.

They are God’s advancing kingdom warriors for such a time as this. They are being mobilized and sent forth NOW to transform the earth with King Jesus as commander-in-chief of His army.

Today we must answer the question, are we part of a “religious system cargo ship” or do we have the new wine skin of being formed into the mobilizing army of God, a wheel within a wheel?

These last few days of November and December are going to truly finish the separating work of God of those who want to remain a “cargo ship” of religious work to feed people who never give back or fully live our their destinies in God or not.

God is forming a living breathing “wheel within a wheel.” He is forming a kingdom of kings and priest as full grown sons and daughters to redeem and subdue the earth. He is rising up a people who will work and live with him to transform the kingdom of this world into the kingdoms of our God in Christ.

What will you choose to be part of “a cargo ship” or the “kingdom of God mobilizing wheel within a wheel? Today is the time to choose!
