Blessed are the pure in heart

Word for today: January 12, 2021 Blessed are the pure in heart! Beloved of the Lord,

It is critical that we as the Body of Christ understand the enemy has come with a horde of critical, accusing, and lying spirits to divide us from one another.

His intention is to sow offenses through this election season to harden many saints hearts through un-forgiveness.

We must come to a place in the Lord of maturity to be able to speak what God tells us understanding that many may or may not receive it and not be offended.

We must cut off all offenses, forgive others quickly, and love our enemies, do good those who use us, pray and bless those who curse us.

For us personally as mature sons and daughters we must express throughout our lives Ephesians 4:3 Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.

Others Christians in this season may not do that, but do not retaliate and above all do not harden your heart. Do not stay angry, lest any root of bitterness grow up in you.

Even the Christians who may be on the opposite side of who you voted for, we must continually love them. We don't have to agree with them, but we must love each other as Christ love us.

This I know, that God will prove all things. God will prove the choices we have made were of him or not. We must trust Him, and forgive each other and be merciful to each other.

We must not let the hordes of hell released now with spirits of accusation, criticism,

un-forgiveness, bitterness, anger or hatred be even named amongst us.

We must take every thought that produces this ugly fruit and bring into the captivity of Christ and not entertain these thoughts for a moment.

We must not rehearse them, we must disperse them instantly. What I am seeing is everyone seems to try to prove they are right and the other is wrong. I believe that is God's job and not ours to prove all thing.

We must discern what is and what is not of God. God may even have us call out the false from the genuine, but we must do so in the pure holy love of God.

Jesus's command will take on such a deeper meaning as the Day of the Lord is revealed. "Love one another as I have loved you."

"No greater love then this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

The heart work of the kingdom of God message is found in Matthew 5:38-38

38 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.’

39 But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also.

40 And if anyone wants to sue you and take your shirt, hand over your coat as well.

41 If anyone forces you to go one mile, go with them two miles.

42 Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you. Love for Enemies

43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor[b] and hate your enemy.’

44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,

45 that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.

46 If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that?

47 And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? 48 Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

I was very blessed when I attended Bible School at Faith Living Church in Southington, CT with Pastor Ron and Susan Thomas, and Pastors John and Betty Dinello.

There were to specific classes out of all of them I took that impacted me greatly. One was called "pure in heart" and the other one was about "loving others."

Both of these classes had a book about these topics. The one I want to mention for this post is a book by Gene Edwards called "the tale of three kings." I encourage you to get it on line. This book was such a foundational book that God used to help me understand how to cut off offenses and how to respect God's leaders just or unjust.

The book shares the lives of King Saul, King David, and King Absalom. It shares the heart of all three kings and why God spoke of David as a man after God's own heart.

It focuses on how the Lord empowered David to face those who would hate him and oppose him and how David learned to not let his heart get hardened.

This may be a good book for all of us to read in this hour. The key was King Saul was a spear thrower, David could have become a spear thrower, but refused, and Absalom became a spear thrower.

This book would become a "corner stone" of truth when I was going to be faced with very similar situations with a Pastor that was over me.

We worked together for two years. He knew God sent me there. The church grew from 20 to 200 in 2 years and the Lord gave us a church building for a dollar a year.

God tested me there. When we got the building, the Pastor felt I needed to do something differently. Something in direct contrast to what God had told me.

I had to pray about with Donna and we both felt we just could not do what he asked because we would have disobeyed God. I spoke to the Pastor about it, and he said, "alright."

But this Father in the Lord who had so blessed me, now saw me as his worse nightmare. Though I know he was trying not to, those around him began to speak evil of me and did many other things for him to get rid of me.

He began to believe them and really turned against me. I was so hurt and devastated by it. It hurt so bad. I could not understand how this could ever happen. I did not think Christians could act so mean and be so cruel.

I got quite an awakening. Many in the church saw what was happening to me. They would come up to me and begin to speak against the Pastor. I NEVER LET THEM. I STOPPED THEM. I told them if they have an issue with the Pastor and me, let's go to him and you can tell him directly.

Of course they would not do so. I had many opportunities to pick up the spear and throw it back and would have been justified before men to do so, but not God.

The only person that knew from my mouth what was going on was my wife. I told no one. I never acted out against it. Everyday I was tested to love him no matter what.

I heard voices every day say, "how could he ever do that to you? Look at what he is saying against you. Look how you are being ridiculed behind your back."

Oh Beloved, I heard those voices for months, but what God taught me at Faith Living Bible School in that class stayed in my heart. I opened not my mouth and every day.. EVERY SINGLE DAY I HAD TO PRAY, LORD DO NOT LET MY HEART GET HARDENED.

I had to come to the reality that I was going to love him no matter what. I had to learn to take every thought into captivity to Christ. I could neither rehearse the offense ever but needed to disperse it.

The Lord reminded me every day of David how the Lord worked in him to allow the Lord to vindicate him. He was not going to touch God's anointed and neither was I. David wept at the death of Saul and Johnathan.

When my Pastor passed away I wept as well. It was heart wrenching for me because of all the God, the good that this man did for God and for my family.

Every single day, I had to remember that good. When a thought would come to me against him, I spoke out loud the good this man had did for me and my family.

I spoke out the love He had for God and for my family. I told the devil to shut up and get out of here, that I was not going to harden my heart against him or anyone.

It was a battle because every day it got worse. I would come home from church or working there and cry as I played my keyboard. It was in this season I learned what a psalmist ministry was because I cried out to the Lord in song. I never heard of a psalmist ministry to 5 years later.

Every day, I begged God and I mean beg, DO NOT LET MY HEART GET HARDENED LORD, I REFUSE TO HOLD ANY OFFENSE.

The day came when God was going to work this out between us. That day what God told me made me break before him in utter shock.

I said, "Lord why is this happening to me? What did I to to hurt this man. I am only obeying what you told me, why can't he see that. He saw it at first, why can't he now. What has hardened his heart like this?

I really expected the Lord to say, "Henry, you poor thing, I know what you are going through." But He did not say that. What did he say?

He said, "Henry do you see what is that man right now? I said, yes, Lord, it is pride." He said, "Henry that is exactly what is in you, and if I did not deal with that here, you would become just like this."

Then I lost it. Then I remembered the "tale of three kings" God was getting the King Saul heart of me. God was teaching me what never to do, by experiencing the hurt personally to His sheep.

What a lesson. A lesson learned through great suffering and cost. I would have never seen that in me. I told the Lord, that I am right about this. He is really doing this to me.

Again the Lord answered me He said, "Henry you can be right going all the way to hell. Do you know how many people are in hell because of thier being right and never would forgive someone for being wrong."

I lost it again. Oh, how God was protecting me, teaching me, disciplining me, correcting me and even scourging me to remove every trace of King Saul who disobeyed God and was a spear thrower.

I am reminded of these things tonight as I see the great hordes of hell being released against God's people especially concerning this election.

This election matter much. I know what God told me about it. Others can reject what I heard if they choose, that is their right, but I will not hold anything against them no matter what. I will not shut my mouth when God gives me something to speak, but it is not my responsibility to make anyone accept it or not. I am just to speak the word in love.

This election is trying to divide us greatly church against church, race against race, people against people, but we must not let it do so. God will prove all things if we let him. We can be bold as lions and as meek as Lambs at the same time by refusing to hold offenses. Last week I posted something and I said, "why all the hate?"

That is when I began to understand the "under-workings" of the enemy against us. I could see the major work of the enemies delusion he is trying to bring upon God's people.

I can now see even more the underneath work of trying to sow anger, hatred, bitterness and un-forgivness is real plot to rob us of the Glory that is now here of the Lord.

Whatever you are thinking of others that voted differently than you, see President Trump or Biden differently than you. Give God the grace to prove all things and DO NOT HARDEN YOUR HEARTS. DO NOT ALLOW OFFENSES TO STAY IN YOU, CUT THEM OFF. DO NOT LET CRITICAL SPIRITS CAST A LIGHT UPON OTHERS DIFFERENT THEN WHAT GOD SEES.

Pharisees still will be pharisees, wolves in sheep clothing will remain the same, and they will hate you and despise you as they hated and despised Jesus, but overcome evil with Good.

Remember mercy triumphs over judgement in a heart that loves God. God is going to judge this nation and the nations. God is going to release cleansing judgements upon the wicked and words of consequences against those who oppose him in this hour.

God is going to reveal the sheep from the goats, the wheat from the tares, the fat sheep from the lean sheep, the counterfeits from the genuine, but in all of that we must continue to live in and walk in the pure holy love of God.

We must love one another as Jesus loves us. Love is quite costly. You will be rejected, despised, laughed at, mocked, ridiculed even in the house of God for speaking what God tell you to speak.

You will despised and rejected of men like Jesus and a man's foes will be in his own household, but we must remain in love.

We must now get our roots down deep in love, founded in love so we can experience for ourselves the height, width, depth and breath of that love.

Many are seeing the wickedness in the political party and they see the evil they are bringing in, but do not harden your hearts. Keep it pure before the God, for vengeance belongs to the Lord.

This is the day of the vengeance of the Lord. God will even use us to release judgments and words of consequences, but not of human emotion or hurts, but only by the word and the will of God. It will be His justice that will be revealed not ours.

Please beloved as you go to bed tonight, ask God if there any offenses you are holding on to even secretly.

If the Holy Spirit shows you the offense, the person who caused it, political party, or Christians, cut off the offense, forgive them as God has forgiven you. Ask God to forgive you if there is any offense, un-forgiveness, anger, bitterness or hatred if He shows you and let him forgive you and heal you.

There is not much time to do this, so please don't delay. You don't have time to waste on these things. You must finish getting all the extra oil to go out and meet the bridegroom. May God keep our hearts pure and give us clean hands to ascend the mountain of the Lord. Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God.

Amen and amen!
