Word for the Day: April 18, 2022. Giving is for living and living is for giving: Part 2
Beloved,
This is part 2 of a Word God is depositing in my spirit on how to get financially
positioned for the hour that is coming upon the earth. It is a Word to position those who will listen and obey to be positioned to receive the wealth of the wicked into their hands.
God spoke to me and said, Henry, Giving is for living and living is for giving!
Today you have an opportunity to hear God and to give as He would want you to give. How many of His precious Saints have a giving plan?
Yes, a plan from God of where, when and how much He wants you to give. Giving is strategic in God's heart. He has placed within our spirit the heart to give fully, completely and entirely up to our lives for His name or His name sake.
God is the giving God who is give seed to the sower and bread to the eater. Notice we are to "sow His seed" not "eat the seed." Without a "vision" God's people perish and with a people God's vision perishes.
What is the vision God has given you personally in giving? Is it time to be with Him? Is it to serve others as He directs you? Is it giving your finances where He desires? It is all of them. Not one better than the other.
But giving finances is the place that can be the hardest specially in this economy and with Covid. Many Pastors and leaders has seen giving financially decrease over the past two years with people watching church from home and not being in the physical building.
But some saints have seen things increase for them in the last two years, and I believe that is because they had a financial giving plan and blueprint from God.
God gave Isaac a plan. That plan was to sow in a time of famine. Most people hoard in a time of famine to make sure they have enough for themselves.
God asked Issac to give more, sow more. He could have kept the seeds for another time when there was no famine, but God wanted to bless Isaac and show the world that Isaac was His chosen instrument.
I believe God wants to show that same favor on us. The same favor that He gave to Joseph that everything He touched was blessed.
Joseph always had a strategy from God. His strategy was to be content and serve God and obey him no matter what He had to suffer as a slave.
His diligence to His work, his knowing what to do, where others were blinded brought him to a place of prominence and so will God do that for all those who know what to do and give due diligence to the work God gave them including in giving.
It is God's intention for us to be the light of the world even in finances. It is God's intention to Bless us beyond measure.
2nd Corinthians 9 says, T he Cheerful Giver-ESV
6 The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.
7 Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
8 And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.
9 As it is written,“He has distributed freely, he has given to the poor; his righteousness endures forever.”
10 He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness. 11 You will be enriched in every way to be generous in every way, which through us will produce thanksgiving to God.
12 For the ministry of this service is not only supplying the needs of the saints but is also overflowing in many thanksgivings to God.
13 By their approval of this service, they will glorify God because of your submission that comes from your confession of the gospel of Christ, and the generosity of your contribution for them and for all others,
14 while they long for you and pray for you, because of the surpassing grace of God upon you. 15 Thanks be to God for his inexpressible gift!
This is such a beautiful portion of the Word of God so many preachers have used as a weapon to "Get people to give" instead of lifting them up in the Spirit into the realm of God's giving and generosity.
Giving is for Living and Living is for Giving.
Verses 6-8 show us the heart of true giving and what God does when He sees it.
6 The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.
7 Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
8 And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.
When we give BOUNTIFULLY NOT SPARINGLY... GOD IS ABLE... DO YOU SEE GOD'S HEART AND WHY GIVING IS FOR LIVING?
GOD IS ABLE TO MAKE ALL GRACE ABOUND TO YOU... GRACE THAT SUPPLIES WHAT YOU NEED SUPERNATURALLY... SO THAT YOU HAVE ALL SUFFICIENCY IN ALL THINGS...
BELOVED GOD HAS A PLAN FOR OUR GIVING AND WHEN WE GET IT, AND DO IT CHEERFULLY AND IN LOVING OBEDIENCE, GOD IS ABLE TO MAKE ALL GRACE... ABOUND... NOT LIMITED, BUT ABOUND TO YOU SO YOU HAVE ALL YOU NEED...IN ALL THINGS AND IN ALL TIMES.
Beloved, is that now what we need in this hour to survive supernaturally what is coming? Why? SO YOU CAN ABOUND IN EVER GOOD WORK... LIVING AND DOING THE WILL OF GOD.
HOW DO YOU GET IT? BY HAVING G0D'S FINANCIAL THOUGHTS AND PLANS SO YOU CAN BE A CHEERFUL AND PROMPT TO DO IT GIVER.. READY TO GIVE AS GOD DIRECTS YOU FOR HIS GLORY TO BE SEEN AND KNOWN.
Verses 9-12 show us the SUPERNATURAL BLUEPRINTS OF GOD. GOD TOLD ISSAC SOW IN A TIME OF FAMINE. GOD TOLD JOSEPH TO STORE UP 7 YEARS OF WHEAT? JESUS TOLD SIMON PETER TO DROP DOWN HIS NETS FOR A CATCH OF FISH.
HE TOLD HIS DISCIPLES TO GO THE SHORE AND CATCH FISH AND TO TAKE THE FIRST FISH AND THERE WOULD BE A GOLD COIN IN THE MOUTH TO PAY THE TAXES.. AND GOD DOES NOT HAVE A FINANCIAL PLAN FOR YOU, YOUR CHURCH AND MINISTRY?
Beloved, I am not talking a corporation business financial plan, or one out of a text book on income and spending. They have some value, but I am talking about God giving you his blueprints to bless you financially by hearing, seeing and obeying all God tells you to give.
Jacob knew where to dig the wells where his neighbors said there is no water any where near them. He found the supply of water by His obedience and trust in God.
You will find your food supply, your water supply, your seeds to sow and bread to eat as you listen for God's voice and get his financial plan.
I learned this in a very practical way over these past years and how critical it is for us to see what God sees financially and to hear His thoughts and plans He has for us in them.
We will not make it in the unfolding day of the Lord financially or with supplies if we don't stop now and take time to get God's financial plan in place for Him to bless us and give us all grace to have all things at all times.
Don't you want that beloved? If so, get on your face before the Lord and ask him about your finances. Ask him what His giving plan is for you and his plan on what to do with the finances He is giving you.
For in thoughts and plans of God for finances and supplies He knows them before the foundation of the earth. His plan are for you well being and provision and peace, not evil, and that you would have hope in your final outcome because our God has provided all your needs according to His riches in glory.
Beloved, take time now while we have time left to get that plan. Know what God wants for your family, your finances and your life. Know what God wants for your plan to give to whom God wants to give it o, how much He wants up to all of what you have , and when and where He wants you to give it.
In Him we live and move and have our being. Blessed are those who have an ear to hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches.
