August 27, 2020 Word for today: Offering Your Isaac

Beloved,

I wonder if any one notices the order of the commandments? Which one is first?

1st Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind'; and,2nd: Love your neighbor as yourself.'"

When the church inverts the order to put the needs and love of men above God we lose our first love for God.

What did God do with Abraham when his love for Isaac grew to be near or equal to his love for God?

Some time later God tested Abraham. He said to him, "Abraham!" "Here I am," he replied.

2Then God said, "Take your son, your only son, Isaac, whom you love, and go to the region of Moriah. Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains I will tell you about."

Why did God tell him this? Was it wrong to love his son, the promised child? Should he not tend the needs of his own son?

What was wrong is that Isaac was becoming an idol in Abraham’s heart in love that belonged to God first.

God had to adjust Abraham’s heart, as he is doing right now with every single minister and ministry in this nation?

Do we love God above all things? Is God our first love or others, ministry work?

Is Jesus our first love in reality? Are there things we love equal or more than him?

Did not Jesus say I have this one charge against you, you deserted me your first love, repent from the heights you have fallen.

This does not diminish loving others as Jesus loves us or for us to pour our our lives for people as Jesus did.

What it means that work CSN NEVER TAKE THE PLACE OF LOVING GOD FIRST.

Matter of fact that becomes the fruit of those who do.

Will we in America, 5 fold ministers, apostles and prophets, pastors and teachers, evangelist lay our Isaac down as God asked Abraham to sacrifice his son?

Will be willing to slay which we love that is becoming equal to God in our hearts as Abraham was willing?

When Abraham came to the point of who was going to be first his son, or God, he chose God. Would you or I make that choice?

Would we pick up our knives and slay our Isaacs as he was willing to do so?

Would God say this to you minister of God or saint of God? Would you allow him to tear your heart as God did with Abraham when he said, “slay your son as an offering to Me?

What would you do if God commanded that of you? Would we pass the true test of perfect love?

9 When they reached the place God had told him about, Abraham built an altar there and arranged the wood on it. He bound his son Isaac and laid him on the altar, on top of the wood

10Then he reached out his hand and took the knife to slay his son.

11But the angel of the LORD called out to him from heaven, "Abraham! Abraham!" "Here I am," he replied.

12 Do not lay a hand on the boy," he said. "Do not do anything to him. Now I know that you fear God, because you have not withheld from me your son, your only son."

This is the first commandment our back in right alignment? This is Matthew 6:33 in action.

This is what God it is going to take from the Lord to change the hearts of God’s leaders and people in the church in America.

This is what He desires of us His people and leaders. He desires us to have Jesus as our first love and to seek first the Kingdom of God...

Beloved, If allow God to realign our hearts and put the first commandment first and the second commandment second, God’s love will flow out do you like living water.

Then the world will behold the Glory of God risen upon us as Isaiah 60 tells us!
