The prayer of husbands, fathers and men of God
Word for the Day: December 10, 2021 A prayer for family restoration. The prayer of Husbands, Fathers and Men of God to repent and return fully back to God.
Father, we come before you in the name of your Son Jesus and we lift up our families and the families of all we know. So many are in need of your healing love and restoration.
We pray for the healing first between Husband and Wives. Father we pray and release restoration glory to come and to burn up every work of the enemy trying to divine the husband from their wives.
Father, forgive each husband for where we have neglected our first love for you and doing our first work of not seeking your face. Forgive us every place we have not taken our place as Priest and King over our family and failed to be the covering our wives and children need.
Forgive us for putting our own needs above yours and neglecting your word that said we should "seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and everything would be added unto us.
We as husband have taken our lives into our hands and we have tried to work out our salvation the way we wanted instead of being true and genuine disciples of Jesus.
Forgive us for having a religious form, but not a true and deep living abiding relationship with you as a branch abides in the vine. Forgive us for the harm that did to our marriage, our children and our families.
Forgive us for "deciding" how much of you we want of you in our life, your work and kingdom and keeping the best part of our lives for ourselves.
Forgive us for living a life of mixture of the Spirit and the flesh and the lukewarm that has given us in this nation.
Forgive us for allowing our wives to wear the spiritual pants in the family.
Forgive us for tolerating the spirit of Jezebel and calls herself of prophet. Forgive us for loving the world more than you.
Forgive us for loving money, homes, sports more than you. Forgive us for becoming an Ahab in our own homes.
Forgive us for putting the spiritual burden of seeking you on our wives and not leading our wives and children by example of being men after your own heart.
Forgive us for shutting our mouths and not bringing correction where we needed to our families and specially our children.
Forgive us for compromising with the sin many of them are in and keeping our mouths closed.
Forgive us for agreeing with their sins, their addictions, their ungodly choices of even choosing their own sexual orientation. by being afraid to push them away by telling them the truth and giving them the corrective love they need from us. Forgive us for not disciplining them because of fear and religious wokeism.
Lord, forgive us for not calling light, light and dark, dark. Forgive us for not speaking against evil and tolerating it for "peace sake" Forgive us for agreeing with what you hate. Forgive us for the unholy relationships we have allowed ourselves
to have so we can be a friend to the world not realizing we have been an enemy of God. Lord, forgive us for deserting you are first love and not doing our first work. Forgive us for being selfish and not seeing that you gave us our wives as your daughters to love and cherish and lead them fully in the ways of God.
Forgive us for seeing our wives for own needs and not yours. Forgive us for not getting underneath them to lift them up to be everything you created them to be and the same for our children.
Forgive us for trying to live the American dream church life of going to church, paying our tithe, helping out where we can and living the rest of our lives for our own needs.
Forgive us for being to busy for our wives and children with the cares of the world, the deceitfulness or riches or our trying to build something for you and not in a position to see the true spiritual needs of our family or even our own needs.
Father we have acted and behaved like the church in Laodicea, we have said in our hearts we are rich and need of nothing, our lives are full with stuff, things, religions and everything else except the power and glory of your manifested presence.
Forgive us for now teaching and demonstrating to our wives and children what it means to be a true disciple of Jesus. Forgive us for not being like Peter, James and John when you called them, they dropped their nets and came after you.
Forgive us for ignoring your call that you are giving right now as invited ones, for making excuses before you of why we can't come today December 10, 2021 when you called us to come to you, for all things are now ready.
Father, change our hearts and wash us in your blood while we still have time to repent, change and overcome. Father wash us, Jesus wash us in your blood and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Lord we come tonight to reason with you, though are sins may be as scarlet, make them white as snow. We repent before you. We turn from these wicked ways and we confess our sins to you.
Holy Spirit come like the Spirit of burning and the Spirit of Judgment, like refiners fire and fuller soap to thoroughly purify us like pure gold and silver that we can give you the true offering of our life as you want not as we want.
Father, open up our blind eyes to see you. Give us the eye salve to put on them. Father, we come to buy the gold tried by the fire tonight. Show us how to do it fully.
Father, I ask you to cover our nudity of not realizing our true spiritual condition before you as your sons, as Husbands and as Fathers. We have failed you, but in that failure we run to you tonight and confess our sins as men in this nation.
WE confess our sin as Husbands in this nation, and we confess our sins as Fathers in this nation, it is against you and you alone that we have sinned.
Like David did before us we pray psalm 51 from the depth of our hearts to you.
Be gracious to me, God, according to your faithful love; according to your abundant compassion, blot out my rebellion. 2 Completely wash away my guilt and cleanse me from my sin. 3 For I am conscious of my rebellion, and my sin is always before me. 4 Against you—you alone—I have sinned and done this evil in your sight. So you are right when you pass sentence; you are blameless when you judge. 5 Indeed, I was guilty when I was born; I was sinful when my mother conceived me. 6 Surely you desire integrity in the inner self, and you teach me wisdom deep within. 7 Purify me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow. 8 Let me hear joy and gladness; let the bones you have crushed rejoice. 9 Turn your face away[a] from my sins and blot out all my guilt. 10 God, create a clean heart for me and renew a steadfast[b] spirit within me. 11 Do not banish me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me. 12 Restore the joy of your salvation to me, and sustain me by giving me a willing spirit. 13 Then I will teach the rebellious your ways, and sinners will return to you. 14 Save me from the guilt of bloodshed, God— God of my salvation— and my tongue will sing of your righteousness. 15 Lord, open my lips, and my mouth will declare your praise. 16 You do not want a sacrifice, or I would give it; you are not pleased with a burnt offering. 17 The sacrifice pleasing to God is[c] a broken spirit. You will not despise a broken and humbled heart, God. 18 In your good pleasure, cause Zion to prosper; build the walls of Jerusalem. 19 Then you will delight in righteous sacrifices, whole burnt offerings; then bulls will be offered on your altar.
Father, tonight we your men, your sons, husband and Fathers obey your word in 2nd Chronicles 7:15 We your men, called by your name, humble ourselves before you and we seek your face, and Father, we turn from these wicked ways with all our heart.
Please tonight hear our cry and hear from heaven and forgive our sins, and heal and restore our relationship first with you, then our wives, and our children and heal the land of our families.
WE believe you have heard our heartfelt cry tonight and that when we ask you for bread you did not give us a stone, by simple faith in you, we believe we are forgiven.
We believe we are washed in your blood and that tonight you have restored us back to where we belong in you, with you and with our families.
We believe your prophetic word that old things have passed away, and that tonight, Behold all things, my family are being made new right now and fully in 2022.
Father, we love you, we worship you and we put our lives and families back into your hands. We give ourselves to your headship, your Lordship and that you would be the complete and total Lord over our lives, our families.
We have been purchased by your blood, we are not our own. So we close tonight praying this prayer. Let your kingdom come, and let your will be done in us and our families on earth as it is heaven, in the name of your son Jesus.
Father, send your fire and fill us once again with the very flame of your love. We love you! In Jesus name.
