The shofar blast! God’s eternal now!

Word For Today: October 1, 2019: The shofar blast! God’s eternal now!

Beloved,

Today has been quite a day in and with the Lord. Today God has begun to give understanding to me of the events of the last two weeks. I know we have entered into the season of the Feast of Trumpets and that is spiritually significant!

About 2 weeks ago I woke up to hearing a shofar blast, but I did not hear it. What does that mean? I heard the blast of the shofar not with my natural ear, not even with my Spiritual ear realm where I have heard much from the Lord.

This shofar sound was beyond “where I was used” to hearing the Lord. I could hear it, but I could not hear it as normal.

All day long for most of the day, I heard that shofar. Even when I was in intercession and being with the Lord, I would hear it but not hear it. I asked the Lord, what are you doing? Why am I hearing this but not hearing it.

Then I felt he asked me a question? How long was that bush burning on the mountain before Moses saw it? The Bible doesn’t tell us. I am sure it started burning before Moses could “see it.”

It was there. It was real, it was just unnoticed by Moses until the right moment in time. Maybe it was burning for years. But finally Moses sees it.

I felt the Lord told me to go to Wade Taylor’s website and gave me a word for the month to read. I felt He would help answer me through one of his teachings. I am going to add some excerpts from two of his teaching along with what the Lord is showing me.

“he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.” Exodus 3:2

(Wade Taylor writes” Moses turned aside to stand before a bush that is burning, but is not being consumed. Therefore, this bush is yet burning, and the Lord is still waiting for those who will notice and then turn aside into His burning presence.

“And Moses said to God, Behold, when I come to the children of Israel, and shall say to them, The God of your fathers has sent me to you; and they shall say to me, What is His name? what shall I say to them? And God said to Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and He said, Thus shall you say to the children of Israel, I AM has sent me to you.” Exodus 3:13-14 (excerpt)

The Lord spoke to Moses from within this manifestation of His presence and revealed Himself as the One who is ever present with us, and also, as being willing to meet with us to make Himself known to us.

To those who are earnestly and diligently seeking His presence, the Lord will reveal or manifest Himself.

“He that has My commandments, and keeps them, he it is that loves Me: and he that loves Me shall be loved of My Father, and I will love him, and will manifest Myself to him.” John 14:21”)

Isn’t that beautiful. Jesus said, “I will love him and will manifest myself to him. As I continued to pray about the sound of the shofar I remembered that the feast of trumpets was coming.

Why am I hearing it’s sound in a different place and in a different realm of God that I have ever heard or known before? I believe the answer is that God desire to “expand our spiritual capacity” for His manifest presence and take us past that into His eternal now.

Today in my intercession time with the Lord I believe I began to experience what God was blowing through the shofar weeks ago. For today I know the Lord wanted to reveal a deeper level of His glory or to walk in a deeper realm of His glory.

For that to happen, He must train our spiritual senses, hear, see, smell, touch and taste in the Spirit far beyond where we have ever been before in our walk with God.

Beloved He has mysteries and secrets of His kingdom that must be revealed in us and to us for the outworking of His end time plans. It is going to require us to go deeper into His heart, deeper into His Manifest presence than we are accustomed to no matter how much time we spend with the Lord. There is more!

The word, “manifest” means that the Lord will make Himself personally known to us through one, or a combination of our five physical senses. That is, we will perceive through our physical senses, not only the fact of the presence of the Lord, but the feeling of His person and thoughts.

Brother Taylor writes, “The Lord desires to make Himself known to us. Moses provides an excellent example of this experience. The Lord had to expand His capacity of knowing God then He had ever known and He was to have a face to face encounter with the Lord in a burning bush.

Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the back side of the desert, and came to the mountain of God, even to Horeb.” Exodus 3:1 (excerpt)

Remember Beloved, Moses grew up in the palace of Pharaoh, yet he knew that the “call of God” rested upon his life. How prophetic is that for us?

(Therefore, when he saw an Israelite being afflicted by an Egyptian, he delivered him, “for he supposed his brethren would have understood how that God by his hand would deliver them.” However, we are told that “they understood not” (Acts 7:22-25).

As a result, Moses fled into the wilderness where he kept the flock of Jethro, the priest of Midian. He was not functioning in his calling, yet he was not discouraged or bitter, as he was still leading “sheep” toward the mountain of God. (excerpt)

How many of God’s people have also gone to hide themselves on the mountain of the Lord?

They are not bitter or discouraged they are staying put in their continued seeking him. Some are not in the church “proper” anymore, but they are still actively seeking and growing in the Lord and in fellowship with some like minded hungry and thirsty ones for the Lord. (excerpt)

They may even be tending the sheep in their homes or part of a home ministry, prayer ministry where the other sheep gather. They are waiting for the Lord to come and to reveal His hearts and plans for them.

In Exodus 3:2-4 “And the angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire, out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.

Brother Taylor writes, “And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burned. And when the Lord saw that he turned aside to see, God called to him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.”

This “flame of fire in a bush that was not consumed” speaks of the “manifest” presence of the Lord that is available to us for to know. God was making Himself to Moses personally. He was gong to speak to him and give him the instructions on how God was going to deliver His people, not Moses!

Beloved did you notice that the Lord did not speak to Moses until after he had turned aside. The Lord had been waiting for Moses to notice and respond to His manifested presence in this burning bush. (excerpt)

This is what happened to me today. For the past few weeks I have been walking toward that sound of the shofar. I turned aside to find it, but it was not until today did I hear the speaking voice of the Lord from that “burning bush” to reveal His heart on how He is going to intervene in our lives.

I am sharing my testimony not to lift myself up, but to encourage those who the Lord is taking deeper. Perhaps you are one that you are also hearing that sound of the shofar or whatever sound or sight that is drawing you deeper into His heart.

I am encouraging you don’t stop until you find Him. Don’t stop until your spiritual capacity for more of Him and His glory is made in your heart. For the Glory of the Lord is going to be seen upon you. Don’t stop now.

Beloved, this is what I was sensing the Lord is doing with the remnant of the Lord that have come to the end of their present level of experience in His manifested presence. His desire is to take us further down the road into the depth of his heart.

I want to encourage you that there are going to be much more frequent ends for us to experience so the Lord can takes us deeper and deeper into His heart to finish the 3rd day Omega work in bringing us forth as full grown sons and daughters of God upon the earth.

Jesus said, “in my Fathers’ house there are many dwelling places. I have gone and made a place for you, and now I have come back to get you, so that where I am you shall also be.”

There are “new NEWS” of Gods glory for us to experience that will finish the work He started in us and prepare us to work with Him in the unfolding of His End-Time plans.

2nd Corinthians 3: 18 And all of us, as with unveiled face, [because we] continued to behold [in the Word of God] as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are constantly being transfigured into His very own image in ever increasing splendor and from one degree of glory to another; [for this comes] from the Lord [Who is] the Spirit.

Do you see it beloved? We are to be CONSTANTLY TO BE TRANSFIGURED INTO HIS VERY OWN IMAGE IN EERY INCREASING SPLENDOR FROM ONE DEGREE OF GLORY TO ANOTHER, FOR THIS COME FROM THE LORD WHO IS THE SPIRIT!

Beloved, if we are not careful the busyness of life, work, ministry could cause us not be able to hear the “sound” outside our normal way of hearing God. If we are not careful we could miss seeing the bush that is on fire but not consumed.

I am so grateful to the Lord for causing me to continually hear throughout my day that sound of the shofar that I couldn’t hear until I could hear it and understand why He blew it in this new place of His glory!

He was blowing the shofar where I have not heard that sound or His voice of the Lord before. That sound caused me all day to continue after him. Even in my daily intercession, ministry to the Lord as I had known, I could still hear the shofar.

I went home for dinner, I told my wife, I can still hear it? Why am I hearing this Lord? Finally after dinner I went back to seek the Lord more and I heard him say you are hearing the Warrior’s Shofar, a call to battle!

Yet, it was a different sound, a different call, and a different battle cry then I had ever known. To find out why the Lord desired me to hear this sound outside the “norm” I had to press in deeper and all day even until today!

I literally had to do what Moses did, “to turn aside” from what my life was in the Lord, to find Him on what my life is “now to be” in the Lord. I had to find and see Him as the “Eternal now.”

What I experienced today in the Lord, I can’t even put in words. I have not even written it down. But what I can write, is that I found where He is blowing that shofar? It has been several weeks of actively seeking the Lord for him to reveal why I heard it outside where I was used to.

God had to expand and deepen my capacity for His manifest presence to go further. I had to keep coming deeper and deeper into His heart. He would use one or two prophetic words, unctions, grownings from the Spirit as beacons to lift me up. I had to come above everything, prayer needs, family needs, intercession as I have known it, just to hear that “shofar sound.”

He had to keep drawing past the situations and circumstances I am facing just to behold His face, His beauty, beyond what I have known or experienced. He wanted to increase my hunger and thirsting for him, His Kingdom and who He is in me as well.

Yet, I know He wanted this to happen even more than I did. He was just waiting for me to “notice the “burning bush” (the sound of the shofar) and turn aside to see it.”

When I turned from what was “normal” or the “way I knew and heard the Lord up this point” He was ready to take my higher through the open door in heaven to see Him on His throne.

He caused a “spiritual increase, and spiritual capacity to know Him, love and see Him, and desire Him in a brand new deeper way.

Like the Shulamite woman said, “I have found the one who my souls loves, when I found Him, I would not let him go. I prayed that we would come into the place the room where my mother conceived me.” Song of Solomon 3:4

When the Lord is able to take you past “where you are, where you have been in your experience of Him, He will offer you new wine to drink with him. He desires to make for us new wineskins to contain the new wine of His glory. Beloved, remember you can’t put new wine in an old wine skin.

What I did not understand was though I thought my wineskin was pretty new, it got old quickly. In His wisdom, He knew I would be content meeting Him where I was in the “newer wine skin.”

Yet Beloved, He had even a BETTER AND NEWER one for me that I needed today. This new wineskin was to contain and greater revelation of his person and His glory.

With God’s help over these past 2 weeks, I could not stop seeking the source of that sound of the shofar. Beloved, to find where the Lord was blowing it from I had to put off the old.

I had to put off what I was doing even the spiritual things he recently taught me. I had to put it all down until I could “turn aside” to hear where the shofar blast was coming from the “new moment.”

By turning aside, I came out of the “limited” developing relationship I had with the Lord into a greater one. Yet, this “new” will become limited and old very soon because of the day and hour we are living in. The Lord will have to lead us continually past this “old-new”to go even into a “deeper newer.”

The Word of God says in 1st Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written: “Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him.”

Today the “Word” that Brother Taylor wrote many years ago became flesh in me. It became my personal experience by allowing the Lord to take me past where I was in the “new” to even the “deeper new.” Why is this important?

Brother Taylor writes in the Article Of Month God sent me to read:

“When we worship the Lord Jesus Christ and enter into His “manifest presence” to commune with Him, we can take a further step and enter into the personal “presencing” of “the eternal I AM” (a personal burning bush experience).

Now we have literally moved out of time into eternity, from His manifest presence into His eternal presence, as revealed to the three disciples on the Mount of Transfiguration.

Here, all earthly problems will fade in the glow of His eternal presence, as the Lord works in our behalf just as He said to Moses:

“Come now therefore, and I will send you to Pharaoh, that you may bring forth My people, the children of Israel, out of Egypt.” Exodus 3:10

Moses was told that the initiative concerning the outworking of the will and purpose of the Lord, would shift from him to the Lord, and that he was required only to follow. Therefore, he was told to remove his shoes (Exodus 3:5). (Excerpt)

Beloved, what a word of the Lord. God wants to transform us beyond all the earthly things we are facing and need to change to actually fade away in Him.

You could call that the “rest of God” and it is, but it is more. It is coming past His manifest presence into his “ETERNAL PRESENCE". Beloved there is much we have to lean about this in the days to come.

Brother Taylor writes, “We also have gone as far as we can go in our shoes and feel the need for a burning bush experience. Just as Moses responded to the manifestation of the presence of the Lord and turned aside, we also are to “turn aside” and stand in the presence of the eternal “I AM.”

It is extremely difficult, if not impossible, for us to understand the concept of “eternity” in which there is no time, and all becomes a present reality.

“Time” relates to our circumstances being spread out before us so we can act or react, thereby making decisions that will affect us for all eternity. Thus, time is for our benefit.

Our level of spiritual maturity, or “spirituality,” relates to our ability to come into an active identity with the thoughts and actions of our Lord, and then rest in His presence as He works in our behalf.

Few understand a visionary. A “visionary” may not accomplish much, because he looks past the present and sees the future as being a present reality. Thus, he is unable to function in or relate to the present.

A person who is “practical” may not accomplish much either, as he easily gets lost in petty details and fails to see the bigger picture. Thus, if a visionary and a practical person could be brought together in a right relationship, much would be accomplished with lasting value.

If we desire to enter into an on-going, deeply spiritual yet practical walk with the Lord, we must pray, “Lord, what am I to say or do that You desire at this present moment?” and then we must wait for a “present” word from the Lord. (Come… and I will send you – Exodus 3:10). Excerpt

Beloved, this word God gave to Brother Taylor is now manifesting in our midst for those who are hungering and thirsting after God. The test for so many of us including 5 fold ministers is “will we put down” what we know, what we are doing to “see the bush that is on fire and not consumed.”

Will we put down all our self efforts and take the shoes off our feet for we are standing on Holy Ground.” Will we allow the Lord to send us and for Him to do the work of building, delivering His people as we obey His commands?

“He that has My commandments, and keeps them, he it is that loves Me: and he that loves Me shall be loved of My Father, and I will love him, and will manifest Myself to him.” (John 14:21”)

Beloved, let us press on to know the Lord! This is a “present” word. As Jesus was seen when Moses stood before a burning bush, the eternal, ever present “I AM” is again about to be seen, as we begin to enter into the time for God to unfold Millennial Kingdom Age upon the earth!

Blessed be His Holy Name!
