Word For Today" July 28,2021 GOOD TREES PRODUCE GOOD FRUIT: A CALL TO PRAY FOR GREATER DISCERNMENT
Beloved,
We must pray for the gift and operation of the Spirit of Discernment more now than ever. What they are trying to teach our children in schools, on TV, in movies, social media is to reject God, His ways, His laws and make up their own.
One of my granddaughters is being taught in school that "love accepts everybody and everything is right, and denying your biological birth sex is ok." We should just love everyone and respect their decisions.
How evil is that? For now what is wrong in God sight, sin in God's sight must be accepted as good. In this hour we live in, the Truth is seen a s lie, and the lie is seen as the truth.
How will God help us to teach our children and grandchildren in the power of God to break the power of those lies off their minds and hearts.
For now telling your children what God has said is being viewed as being a bigot or not loving or accepting. Beloved don't let the devil fool you, this is not about accepting people or not, this is about accepting sin and darkness as being right when it is wrong.
We must pray for our own lives and our families that we are filled with the 7 spirits of God and also for the gift of discernment to increase so we can tell what is of God and what is not.
We need the gift of discerning of spirits to know what spirit is speaking through someone, the Holy Spirit of a demon.
If in the last days people in the body of Christ will believe and receive doctrines of devils it is because the hearts have become hard and callous.
The heart looses spiritual discernment when it can no longer separate what is good in God's sight and what is evil. This is what lead people to turn away from the true God and make a god of their own image and liking.
The destruction that comes from eating of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil is that you become your own discerner. You know longer need to rely on what God says is good and what is evil and you get to do it.
In essence you become your own God. You build your own moral compass of what you accept as right and ok and what is not. That is why the bible tells us for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.
Being our own god, gives us our own belief system, and we build our own religion and that becomes our moral compass because we have deserted God and gone our own way.
This is why in the last days, God's people (many not all) will have a form of godliness but deny the power thereof. Many will turn away from the faith and be seduced by doctrine of devils because they have itching ears.
That means in the body of Christ they will start seeking out counselors that will "tell them what they want to hear" instead of telling them what God says is Good and what God says is evil.
Soon the mention of sin or being a sinner will be called a hate crime. You will become a sin-a phobe" because you believe the Gospel's message is to call all men to repent and turn to God.
You may even be imprisoned for believing such a thing and that because you told someone they need to repent.. YOU HATE THEM. YOU ARE JUDGING THEM.. AND YOU SHOULD BE PUNISHED FOR TELLING SOMEONE THE TRUTH OF GOD'S WORD.
Let us read what Peter said was going to happen in the last days, as a warning to us to pray for the gift of discernment and the gift of discerning of spirits 2 Timothy 3:
1 But understand this, that in the last days will come (set in) perilous times of great stress and trouble [hard to deal with and hard to bear].
2 For people will be lovers of self and [utterly] self-centered, lovers of money and aroused by an inordinate [greedy] desire for wealth, proud and arrogant and contemptuous boasters.
They will be abusive (blasphemous, scoffing), disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy and profane.
3 [They will be] without natural [human] affection (callous and inhuman), relentless (admitting of no truce or appeasement); [they will be] slanderers (false accusers, troublemakers), intemperate and loose in morals and conduct, uncontrolled and fierce, haters of good.
4 [They will be] treacherous [betrayers], rash, [and] inflated with self-conceit. [They will be] lovers of sensual pleasures and vain amusements more than and rather than lovers of God.
5 For [although] they hold a form of piety (true religion), they deny and reject and are strangers to the power of it [their conduct belies the genuineness of their profession]. Avoid [all] such people [turn away from them].
6 For among them are those who worm their way into homes and captivate silly and weak-natured and spiritually dwarfed women, loaded down with [the burden of their] sins [and easily] swayed and led away by various evil desires and seductive impulses.
7 [These weak women will listen to anybody who will teach them]; they are forever inquiring and getting information, but are never able to arrive at a recognition and knowledge of the Truth.
8 Now just as [a]Jannes and Jambres were hostile to and resisted Moses, so these men also are hostile to and oppose the Truth. They have depraved and distorted minds, and are reprobate and counterfeit and to be rejected as far as the faith is concerned.
9 But they will not get very far, for their rash folly will become obvious to everybody, as was that of those [magicians mentioned].
10 Now you have closely observed and diligently followed my teaching, conduct, purpose in life, faith, patience, love, steadfastness,
11 Persecutions, sufferings—such as occurred to me at Antioch, at Iconium, and at Lystra, persecutions I endured, but out of them all the Lord delivered me.
12 Indeed all who delight in piety and are determined to live a devoted and godly life in Christ Jesus will meet with persecution [will be made to suffer because of their religious stand].
13 But wicked men and imposters will go on from bad to worse, deceiving and leading astray others and being deceived and led astray themselves.
14 But as for you, continue to hold to the things that you have learned and of which you are convinced, knowing from whom you learned [them],
15 And how from your childhood you have had a knowledge of and been acquainted with the sacred Writings, which are able to instruct you and give you the understanding for salvation which comes through faith in Christ Jesus [through the [b]leaning of the entire human personality on God in Christ Jesus in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness].
16 Every Scripture is God-breathed (given by His inspiration) and profitable for instruction, for reproof and conviction of sin, for correction of error and discipline in obedience, [and] for training in righteousness (in holy living, in conformity to God’s will in thought, purpose, and action),
17 So that the man of God may be complete and proficient, well fitted and thoroughly equipped for every good work.
Beloved, we are now coming into a time of great persecution to the "true church" of the living God. Jesus said, "if they hate me, they will hate you. If they despise me, they will despise you.
But he also said in Matthew chapter 5: 10 Blessed are they that are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.
11 Blessed are ye when men shall revile you and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely for My sake.
12 Rejoice and be glad for great is your reward in heaven.
Jesus told and warned us personally through his apostles what was coming. Great darkness is covering the earth. The Great lie we are facing today is not about politics or who one the election.
The Great lie is satan is not only trying to deceive the world, but the very house of God to deny God's word, deny the conviction and work of the Holy Spirit who has come TO CONVICT OF SIN, RIGHTEOUSNESS AND JUDGMENT.
His desire is for us to "write our own 10 commandments, take the place of God, deny His word and make up our own interpretation of it that lets us stay in sin with no need to repent.
IT IS HAPPENING RIGHT BEFORE EYES IN THE HOUSE OF GOD, IN THE HEARTS OF CHRISTIANS WHO ONCE KNEW WHAT WAS RIGHT AND WRONG AND NOW OUR COMPROMISING AND BECOMING LUKEWARM TO BE SPEWED OUT OF THE MOUTH OF GOD.
Beloved, there is one sure measurement system of God to know what is of Him, what is of his heart and spirit and what is not. GOOD TREES PRODUCE GOOD FRUIT AND BAD TREES PRODUCE BAD FRUIT. WE ARE TO KNOW A TREE BY IT'S FRUIT.
You Will Know Them by Their Fruits
15 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.
16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles?
17 Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.
18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit.
19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them.
EVEN SO, EVERY... EVERY... EVERY GOOD TREE.... BEARS... BEAR GOOD FRUIT..
BUT A BAD TREE... A BAD TREE... BEARS BAD FRUIT.
EVERY TREE.... EVERY TREE... THAT DOES NOT BEAR GOOD FRUIT... IS...... IS.... IS.. CUT DOWN AND THROWN INTO THE FIRE...
(it does not say some bad trees BUT EVERY BAD TREE THAT DOES NOT BEAR GOOD FRUIT)
THEREFORE BY THEIR FRUITS YOU WILL KNOW THEM.
Beloved in the age we are living Christians (CINOS) want to throw the Word of God out and say everything is good, or they have selective hearing and pick what they want out of the Bible to justify their sin and make it acceptable.
How ugly is that to trample the blood of Jesus, the cost of that blood he shed on that cross, to now say, "sin is ok and acceptable" when Jesus suffered the worse torture and died for us to free us from it, yet we want to remain in sin? Really?
Let us read Romans 6 from the AMPC
6 What shall we say [to all this]? Are we to remain in sin in order that God’s grace (favor and mercy) may multiply and overflow?
2 Certainly not! How can we who died to sin live in it any longer?
3 Are you ignorant of the fact that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?
4 We were buried therefore with Him by the baptism into death, so that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious [power] of the Father, so we too might [habitually] live and behave in newness of life.
5 For if we have become one with Him by sharing a death like His, we shall also be [one with Him in sharing] His resurrection [by a new life lived for God].
6 We know that our old (unrenewed) self was nailed to the cross with Him in order that [our] body [which is the instrument] of sin might be made ineffective and inactive for evil, that we might no longer be the slaves of sin.
7 For when a man dies, he is freed (loosed, delivered) from [the power of] sin [among men].
8 Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him,
9 Because we know that Christ (the Anointed One), being once raised from the dead, will never die again; death no longer has power over Him.
10 For by the death He died, He died to sin [ending His relation to it] once for all; and the life that He lives, He is living to God [in unbroken fellowship with Him].
11 Even so consider yourselves also dead to sin and your relation to it broken, but alive to God [living in unbroken fellowship with Him] in Christ Jesus.
12 Let not sin therefore rule as king in your mortal (short-lived, perishable) bodies, to make you yield to its cravings and be subject to its lusts and evil passions.
13 Do not continue offering or yielding your bodily members [and [a]faculties] to sin as instruments (tools) of wickedness. But offer and yield yourselves to God as though you have been raised from the dead to [perpetual] life, and your bodily members [and [b]faculties] to God, presenting them as implements of righteousness.
14 For sin shall not [any longer] exert dominion over you, since now you are not under Law [as slaves], but under grace [as subjects of God’s favor and mercy].
15 What then [are we to conclude]? Shall we sin because we live not under Law but under God’s favor and mercy? Certainly not!
16 Do you not know that if you continually surrender yourselves to anyone to do his will, you are the slaves of him whom you obey, whether that be to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience which leads to righteousness (right doing and right standing with God)?
17 But thank God, though you were once slaves of sin, you have become obedient with all your heart to the standard of teaching in which you were instructed and to which you were committed.
18 And having been set free from sin, you have become the servants of righteousness (of conformity to the divine will in thought, purpose, and action).
19 I am speaking in familiar human terms because of your natural limitations. For as you yielded your bodily members [and [c]faculties] as servants to impurity and ever increasing lawlessness, so now yield your bodily members [and [d]faculties] once for all as servants to righteousness (right being and doing) [which leads] to sanctification.
20 For when you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness.
21 But then what benefit (return) did you get from the things of which you are now ashamed? [None] for the end of those things is death.
22 But now since you have been set free from sin and have become the slaves of God, you have your present reward in holiness and its end is eternal life.
23 For the wages which sin pays is death, but the [bountiful] free gift of God is eternal life through (in union with) Jesus Christ our Lord.
These are the very words that the enemy is causing blinders over many in churches eyes to see and repent.
He is trying to convince them that we are to love people and their sin and accept them and their sin and say nothing about it or even call them to repent.
The Gospel message is a call to repent, not condemn people, but to allow the Holy Spirit to bring conviction of sin, righteousness and judgment.
Without the call to REPENT AND TO TRULY REPENT WE CAN'T ENTER THE KINGDOM OF GOD AND SATAN KNOWS IT. THAT IS WHY WE NEED TO PRAY FOR THE INCREASE OF THE DISCERNING OF SPIRITS AND GIFT OF DISCERNMENT IN OUR LIVES AND FAMILIES.
WE NEED THE BOLDNESS OF THE LION OF JUDAH TO STAND IN NATION THAT WANTS TO CALL SIN AND EVIL GOOD, AND THAT WHICH IS GOOD AND HOLY, EVIL.
IF WE SHUT OUR MOUTHS WHAT IS THE CONSEQUENCES OF THAT. IF WE COMPROMISE WITH THE WORLD, HOW WILL THEY EVER SEE THE HOLINESS AND GLORY OF GOD?
Beloved, Good trees produce good fruit and bad trees bear bad fruit. May God increase our spiritual discernment in this hour. May he fill us with a holy boldness where we wont' back down, shut our mouths, but preach the Gospel message.
REPENT FOR THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS AT HAND!
