Word For Today: March 30, 2020 YOU SHALL RECEIVE POWER AFTER....

I just want to encourage each one of us today that we don’t have to be fearful or panic in this pandemic. Those of you who are born again by the Spirit of God have the Holy Spirit in you. Those of you have received the Baptism of the Spirit are also filled with the Holy Spirit gifts we need to even function with Him on a higher level.

If you have never been baptized in the Holy Spirit, if you have been taught it from the devil or ended with the disciples, I ask you from a sincere heart to lay down those beliefs. Lay them at the feet of the Lord and ask Him if the Baptism of the Holy Spirit is real and if it is for today. I guarantee you if you ask from a sincere heart, free from the religious spirit and lie, He will show you it is real and it is for now. Why? Because now is the time you need the gifts of the Spirit to operate in your life like never before.

We need the gift of discerning of spirit, tongues, interpretation of tongues, prophecy and all of them because they are the tools of God’s guidance system in the Holy Spirit. Maybe speaking or praying in tongues doesn’t make sense to you, but to those of us who do, we know it is the power of God. We know these gifts take us out of the “natural mind” of the flesh, to lift us up in the Spirit to receive the mind, thoughts and plans of God.”

I could not imagine my life without the gifts of the Spirit. Yet, even more the Baptism of the Spirit comes like Malachi 3 as a refiners fire and fuller soap. It allows the Lord to work even more intimately and deeply in your heart because you can see and hear on a deeper realm of God what He sees and wants us to see in our own heart.

The Holy Spirit work is first to convict of sin, righteousness and judgment. Then He has come to teach us, reveal to us, work in us everything Jesus said and done. The name for the Holy Spirit is Teacher, Comforter, Paraclete, Stand-by and Helper. Don’t you think we need to know the third person of the Trinity in a deeper way. He is the “source” of our Spiritual Guidance system. He is our navigator, course plotter, direction setter, step ordered we need now more than ever. He is reliable, accurate, on point, directional, instructional and has come to lead us in ALL TRUTH, not some truth. We need Him desperately now in this time of pandemic.

I am just going to cut and paste one section of Romans 8 for you to consider:

9 However, you are not [living] in the flesh [controlled by the sinful nature] but in the Spirit, if in fact the Spirit of God lives in you [directing and guiding you]. But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him [and is not a child of God]. 10 If Christ lives in you, though your [natural] body is dead because of sin, your spirit is alive because of righteousness [which He provides]. 11 And if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit, who lives in you.

12 So then, [a]brothers and sisters, we have an obligation, but not to our flesh [our human nature, our worldliness, our sinful capacity], to live according to the [impulses of the] flesh [our nature without the Holy Spirit]— 13 for if you are living according to the [impulses of the] flesh, you are going to die. But if [you are living] by the [power of the Holy] Spirit you are habitually putting to death the sinful deeds of the body, you will [really] live forever.

14 For all who are allowing themselves to be led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. 15 For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading again to fear [of God’s judgment], but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons [the Spirit producing sonship] by which we [joyfully] cry, “[b]Abba! Father!” 16 The Spirit Himself testifies and confirms together with our spirit [assuring us] that we [believers] are children of God. 17 And if [we are His] children, [then we are His] heirs also: heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ [sharing His spiritual blessing and inheritance], if indeed we share in His suffering so that we may also share in His glory.

Do you see the Holy Spirit’s work he has come to do in our heart, the freedom he brings, the direction we need. Let us read one more section.

26 In the same way the Spirit [comes to us and] helps us in our weakness. We do not know what prayer to offer or how to offer it as we should, but the Spirit Himself [knows our need and at the right time] intercedes on our behalf with sighs and groanings too deep for words. 27 And He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because the Spirit intercedes [before God] on behalf of [c]God’s people in accordance with God’s will.

Beloved, this is critical, today in our weakness of not knowing what to do, where to go, He is here. When we don’t what to pray right now, He is here to pray in us and through us. We have not received a spirt of slavery leading us again to fear. Why? there is no fear in love, perfect love cast out all fear.

The Holy Spirit is God’s perfect love. He has come to invade our hearts and shed the love of God fully in every fiber of our being where we will be fearless, because we know God is now able to lead us perfectly. It is the power of the Holy Spirit in us that directs our steps and orders them perfectly. We must trust him, the third person of the trinity. We must come intimate with him and his work in our lives and totally united with him in our heart. Why?

Because he has come to reveal in us every single minute of the day the thoughts and plans of the Father, just like he revealed them to Jesus when he walked upon the earth. He is here to lead us, guide us, communicate with us, empower us with Dunamis miracle working power to overcome the world as Jesus did.

Now, beloved if the time to build our relationship with the Holy Spirit. Now is the time to ask the Father to send us a fresh baptism of the Holy Spirit to burn in us with the “new wine” from heaven. Now is the time to put away the lies of the enemy that has lied to you and told you the gifts of the Spirit stopped when the Bible came. You must put away the lies that says the Baptism of the Spirit is not real or not for today.

Beloved, saint of God you need that Dunamis power of God now to lead you, guide you fill you in a deeper way. If the disciples had to tarry for it to receive it on the day of Pentecost so they could be a witness of the gospel with signs and wonders following, how much more do we need it.

Today is that day! Open your hearts and ask the Holy Spirit to fill you with His baptism of fire. If you already have ask for more! Those who are led by the Spirit of God are the sons of God. This is the time we need to not miss the mark, miss God’s direction for our lives and family. The Holy Spirit has come not only to save us, but fill us, teach us, guide us in every step we walk in victory over the enemy. Let’s trust him to do His work in us today.

Thanks be to God who always causes us to triumph in Christ Jesus. Thank you Father, Thank you Jesus for sending us your Holy Spirit. Yes Lord, send your fire, baptize us again Holy Spirit. We need you now more now then ever.
